- Description
My client, a global electrical manufacturer, are looking for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to be responsible for collating and monitoring marketing and communication activities in the region. The successful candidate will plan and communicate at regular intervals to the wider team and ensure that the structures and organisation of the region’s activities are coordinated in a timely and efficient manner.
Main Duties:- Create and maintain an overview of all marketing activities and identify areas to push
- Delivery of appropriate materials and corporate and regional messages and to ensure that there is a strong and clear structure of the Marketing efforts throughout for the business
- Create a structure for following up on all leads obtained from marketing activities and ensure all are captured and opportunities maximized to true outcomes
- Support, control and improve the current internal communication structure
- Create and ensure use of the marketing calendar
- Manage and lead marketing presentation materials including PowerPoint presentations
- Create and maintain the company profiling
- Organise exhibitions and sponsored events, and support the team on these events
- Set up and chair regular marketing meetings
- Work with distribution and support regular sales channels
- Participate and contribute to the annual Marketing budget
- Responsible for internal communications take responsibility for the editorial and delivery and encourage contributions
- Responsible for catalogue management
- Any other tasks that are deemed appropriate to the role
Experience:- Previous experience of working within Marketing/Communications in a fast-moving environment
- A degree in a Business or Marketing discipline would be useful, but not a necessity
- Experience with MRP/ERP software systems, preferably SAP (Material Management module
- Detailed experience of advanced Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint/Excel
- Effective time manager with the ability to prioritise and to follow through
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues at all levels
- Outstanding administration and organisation skills, with a keen eye for detail
- A clear and demonstratable ability to build relationships internally and externally
- Must be able to work on own, setting priorities, meeting objectives and affording the best service to our customers (internally & externally)

Core Hours:- Monday to Thursday - 8:45 am to 5:00pm
- Friday - 8:45am to 4:15pm
