Description
Our client has been established for over 30 years the largest supplier equipment to quarries and recycling plants, this is a new role to support sales team and directors in launching a new software system to streamline service and sales.

Areas of Responsibility:
  • Set up and install of new CRM system - this will take time and will involve entering and updating all customer information, key contacts and equipment ownership
  • Setting up the Service side of the CRM and working with Service department of documents to be uploaded
  • Manage social media with regular updates and prepare newsworthy magazine editorials for submission to magazines
  • Create and update weekly used machine flyers to be uploaded to our website and other 3rd party sites
  • Visit existing customers to get good photos of new machines and prepare newsworthy stories
  • Editing photographs and controlling an image bank of products for website
  • Set up Mailchimp and use for regular updates on our business activities and special offers
  • Liaise a team of seven salesman and keep updates to database on their regional activities
  • Identify companies not currently using our equipment and canvas these companies by phone, post and email
  • Update salesmen weekly on machines we currently have available; used / trade ins and new stock
  • Provide quotes and sales orders for salesman as instructed
  • Co-ordinate requirements for exhibitions arranging accommodation and travel, sponsored events and their soon to start Touring car sponsorship (may involve weekends to go to the racing and nights away)
  • Assist Office Manager with credit control
  • Answering incoming calls during busy periods

Requirements:
  • Experience of using CMS or HMTL, MailChimp and Photoshop
  • Knowledge of social media and digital media campaigns
  • Proactive and confident in speaking to customers over the telephone
  • Good sense of humour and the ability to multi-task
  • Computer literate in MS Office
  • Confidence to learn a new CRM system

Additional Details:
  • Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 8am until 5pm
  • 20 days annual leave plus Christmas shut down
  • Flexibility required with weekends and nights away
