- Description
- Your main duties will include:
- Processing of all invoices onto NetSuite
- Sending out of invoices to departments for approval
- Chasing the HoDs if invoices are not approved timely
- Identification and resolution of invoicing errors
- Generating of payment runs and uploading files to banking system
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Assisting the finance team with month end accrual
- Validating new vendors raised by the HoDs
- Liaise with external suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries
- Amend existing vendor details to ensure they are up to date
- Building relationships with vendors, departments, and team
- Working of the APinbox daily
- Supporting the rest of the team with administration
- Look to continuously improve and automate AP processes
- Support Finance Operations Manager on ad-hoc projects, including system implementations such as NetSuite and creating reports and dashboards.
Key requirements for the position include:- Experience with processing supplier invoices
- Confident using excel, including V Look Ups and Pivot Tables
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in Accounts Payable
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and with various accounting packages
- Strong problem solving and customer service skills
- Ability to work within a small finance team
- Attention to detail and willingness to implement new controls as required
- Ability to be curious and challenge the status quo when appropriate
- Experience of working in a fast-paced growth environment and able to adapt.
